Within a timeframe of 20 minutes, ice sculptor Bill Covitz will create an extraordinary
ice instrument for Sara and Maika Gomez. The Gomez sisters will then give an exclusive
concert on their brand new instrument.

World premiere of the official instrument of 2013: TUBICE!
We do not yet know how the frozen tuba will sound OR look like, but what wee do know
is that we will hear two great musicians. Espen Jørgensen performed on ice guitar at the
festival in 2007 and is well experienced. Daniel has developed a new wind instrument in
cooperation with ice sculptor Bill Covitz.

24:00 MIDNIGHT CONCERT: 'WINTER SONGS'
After the release of Winter Songs in 2010, Terje Isungset has toured with his ice music
concept in Australia, India, China, Russia, Japan and all over Europe. After performing at
the IceMusicFestival, the Winter Songs ensemble are to tour the US and Canada.
